I’m Andrew, an artist working primarily with reclaimed wood.
My practice moves between portraiture, abstraction, and large-scale murals, transforming salvaged materials into work that carries history, texture, and presence.
Alongside the studio, I work as a therapist. That perspective shapes how I approach storytelling — attentive to symbolism, memory, and the layers beneath what’s visible.
Curiosity runs through the work, from human experience to the edges of the unexplained.
At its core, Swood is about connection — building objects, images, and spaces that invite people in.

I open my commissions 1-2 times per year, but I am always open to hearing your idea to see if it fits into what I’m working on at the moment.
